Strategy & Transformation Team

The Strategy & Transformation (S&T) Team is part of the collaboration of North West London Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and works with all eight CCGs to support them in bringing about improvements to health, care and support services in their area, with the aim of improving people’s health and wellbeing.

S&T works with a wide range of stakeholders, supporting the wider efforts to create a collaborative, North West London-wide approach. The S&T team is passionate about delivering real change for people in NW London, and supports this with a number of capabilities and experience in strategy, delivery, programme management, analytics, engagement, communication, informatics and workforce. Our work with the CCGs is made up of a number of programmes which cover the key areas of focus for CCGs in bringing about improvements to local care services. These are:

  • Integrated, or joined up, care
  • Primary care
  • Mental health and wellbeing
  • Reconfiguration of hospital care
  • Seven-day services
  • Workforce and people

These programmes are supported by project management, administration, communications and engagement, HR and finance departments. S&T also has direct clinical leadership and input across each of its programmes to provide clinical North West London-wide expertise in all areas of its work.

What our team says about working in S&T:

“Working in the Strategy & Transformation Directorate is a great experience; the opportunity to work with so many driven individuals who are completely invested in making wholesale improvements to the lives of two million local people. I feel extremely privileged to have had this opportunity and would recommend it to anybody.”

“The people here are passionate about what they do. The work is exciting and different, and it’s great to be part of something that’s ambitious. Working with eight CCGs means you can be involved in major change that makes a real difference.”

“We’re involved in helping CCGs transform how healthcare is delivered, which makes it an exciting place to work. The environment is fast-paced and there’s a lot of talent within the team who you can really learn a lot from. We have the opportunity here to work on projects that aren’t happening anywhere else and, through our lay partners, connect regularly with the people who are using our healthcare services.”
