Chandulal Shah, Harrow resident and Lay Partner for the NW London Collaboration of Clinical Commissioning Groups, recently won the Judges Award at the Harrow’s Heroes awards ceremony.

Chandulal Shah, Harrow resident and Lay Partner for the NW London Collaboration of Clinical Commissioning Groups, recently won the Judges Award at the Harrow’s Heroes awards ceremony that took place at Byron Hall in Harrow Leisure Centre on Wednesday 4 November 2015.

Mr Shah has been involved with many health and social care organisations, promoting and advocating mental health. He acts as an ambassador for South Asian and other communities in North West London, passing information, helping guide them to the right places of care for mental health, and other services.

He has been volunteering for over 65 years and has been actively involved in voluntary work at many different levels and for various events, campaigns and organisations – always helping in the best way he can.

Mr Shah’s fantastic voluntary experience also expands to the CNWL NHS Trust Carer Council, Mind in Harrow, EKTA Group, Carer Champion Group, Vice Chair of Civic Medical Centre – all based in North West London.
