This year’s prestigious Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards took place on 23 November, in London.

The annual awards show recognises, celebrates, and promotes the finest achievements in the NHS.

This year, our partners across North West London were shortlisted for, no less than six awards including: Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) of the year, Clinical Leader of the year and Improving Outcomes through Learning and Development. Nominations went to Brent CCG, Dr Mohini Parmar, Chair of Ealing Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the Central London Community Healthcare Trust and The Hillingdon Hospitals Foundation Trust.

On receiving her nomination Dr Mohini Parmar said: “I’m delighted and humbled to be shortlisted for such a highly-regarded award. It’s gratifying to see the work of the clinical commissioning group, and also the work of our providers and partners, recognised for the great outcomes we have now begun to see as a result of our ambitious but vital evidence-based transformation programme.”

Although we didn’t win we are very happy that North West London clinicians, CCGs and trusts have been recognised for their hard work over the past year. We will continue to lead the way in delivering healthcare excellence and innovation, together with our staff, and for the benefit of our patients.
